2. Products

The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Your product may vary slightly from those images. All goods sold must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described (Consumer Rights Act 2015).

3. Placing an Order

Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order. Please take the time to read and check your order at each page of the order process.

After you place an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Our acceptance of your order takes place when we dispatch the product(s) to you. We will confirm our acceptance to you by sending you an email confirmation. A contract between us will be formed at that point.

4. Price and Delivery Charges

The price of the products will be as quoted on our website at the time you submit your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the prices of products are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.

The price of a product includes VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable in the UK.

Delivery charges are displayed during the order process. The total price of your order will be the price of the product plus the specified delivery charges.

5. Payment

You can pay for products using [ Visa, Mastercard, PayPal]. Payment for the products and all applicable delivery charges is in advance.

6. Delivery

We will contact you with an estimated delivery date, which will be no later than 30 days after the day on which we accept your order, unless otherwise agreed.

7. Your Right of Cancellation (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

When you buy goods from us online, you are entitled to a "cooling off" period.

  • You can cancel your contract for any reason within 14 days from the day after you receive your goods.
  • To cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel using a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, or e-mail). You may use the model cancellation form provided at the end of this document, but it is not obligatory.
  • You must send the goods back to us within 14 days of informing us of your wish to cancel. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
  • We will refund you the price paid for the products and the standard delivery cost you paid (not premium delivery costs). We may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
  • We will make the refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back from you or receiving evidence that you have sent them back.

Exceptions to the right of cancellation include (but are not limited to):

  • Goods made to your specific specification or clearly personalised.
  • Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (perishable goods).
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery.

8. Faulty Products

You may reject faulty goods within 30 days. Within 6 months we must repair/replace, or refund if it is reasonable to assume the fault was there when purchased.

In addition to your cancellation rights, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we are under a legal duty to supply products that are in conformity with this contract.

If your product is faulty or misdescribed, please contact us immediately. In Scotland, you have up to five years from the date of purchase to make a claim for faulty items, although the onus lies with you to prove there was an inherent fault when purchased. We will advise you on how to return the item and your rights to a refund, repair, or replacement.

It is our genuine intention to ensure our customers receive preloved products that provide good value for money, and a fair amount of use.

9. Our Liability

We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • any breach of the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015; and
  • defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We will use your personal information to:

  • process your order and provide the goods/services;
  • process your payment; and
  • inform you through email about similar products or services that we provide (you may stop receiving these at any time).

We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law requires or allows us to do so, or to process your order (e.g., delivery companies and payment processors). Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Please note that these terms and conditions are governed by Scots law. This means a contract for the purchase of products through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by Scots law.
