An Amazing Fundraising Effort by Marshall!

6-year-old Marshall with his mum Gemma, completed a 5K sponsored run on behalf of Trust in Fife this month running through Lochore Meadows. After Marshall wanted to help someone sitting outside a local supermarket, he asked his mum if he could do something else to support people who were homeless. After some research Marshall picked Trust in Fife. Marshall completed his run in 37 minutes and raised an amazing £625 for Trust in Fife. Caroline McCall, Trust in Fife’s CEO invited Marshall and his mum to come and meet with her at one of their hostels where Marshall told her all about his run, showed everyone his medal and trophy and told everyone why he wanted to do it in the first place. Caroline said, “This was a very humbling and uplifting meeting and to meet someone so young who is switched on about homelessness and what it means for people was amazing to see”. Marshall got to meet a client living in the hostel, some of the staff and got a guided tour. Caroline let Marshall know the money he raised will be given to clients and will be used to arrange to take them all out for the day.
