Helping you with your deposit

When you’re on benefits or have a low income, saving enough money for a deposit on a rental property can seem way out of reach. If you’re at risk of homelessness, Fife Keyfund can help with deposits.
Working with private landlords and tenants, Fife Keyfund staff negotiate written guarantees instead of cash deposits to secure tenancies. Our aim is to ensure you have a safe place to live as soon as possible and give you more time to pay back your deposit.
Our team will stay in regular contact, offering property visits and ongoing advice to help you save a deposit of your own and achieve a settled, sustainable tenure.
Staff also advise private landlords on legal matters to ensure the all-round success of tenancy agreements.
How can I apply?
